Fears for music festival’s future

Pete Smith told BBC Hereford and Worcester there was now a threat to the future of Presteigne’s Sheep Music gathering after last weekend’s weather. Hundreds of people braved the floods to attend the three-day event on the Powys-Herefordshire-Shropshire border but attendances were well down. Mr Smith praised many involved with the festival who have waived their fees. "He added that once hundreds of festival-goers battled the bad weather to reach the site at Wentes Meadow the organising committee’s first priority had been to ensure their safety.
