And it’s open in the time-honored shopping district Yuyuan Garden. This year’s theme is “Shanghai World Expo 2010. ” Tuesday morning thousands swarmed into the plaza in front of the Yuyuan Garden Center. There amid the clamor of pounding drums and traditional lion dances people gave a rousing round of applause for the eagerly anticipated World Expo.

Thrissur: The Government Engineering College Thrissur was leading with a score of 28 points when the results of nine events were announced at ‘Dhyuthi’ an inter-collegiate youth festival on Thursday. Government Medical College Thrissur and PG Centre Thrissur were in the second and third positions in the festival scoring 25 and 10 points respectively.
