The 12th edition of one of Bulgaria's most awaited cultural events will be held from March 6 until March 12 in Sofia with additional screenings in Sofia Plovdiv and Bourgas (March 17 to 23). SIFF is the only place where Bulgarian cinema fans can meet both outstanding films and film makers from all over the world. This year's festival focuses on the cinemas of two nations. Russia will be presenting the best that it has to offer from the past year.

The programme for Northampton’s 2008 Balloon Festival includes a circus and children’s farm back by popular demand cabinet member Brendan Glynane said. The event will also feature a sports and activities zone for the first time with coaching from professionals. "Last year 30000 paying adults came to the event over the three days despite the terrible weather" Mr Glynane said.

As a lead photographer for WireImage the official photo agency of the Sundance Film Festival Vespa shoots hundreds of festival actors and filmmakers from a makeshift studio on Park City’s Main Street. “We do portraits of pretty much everybody who attends” said Vespa in an interview this week. Vespa is a co-founder of WireImage a digital-photo service that provides images of celebrities professional athletes and other prominent figures to media outlets worldwide. Stars now consider Vespa’s temporary studio a required stop.
