Eastwood’s ‘Changeling’ goes for gold at Cannes festival

He’ll never shy away from a contest though including the one at the world’s most prestigious film showcase. Eastwood’s missing-child drama “Changeling” was among 22 movies in the running for the top honor the Palme d’r on Sunday at the 61st Cannes Film Festival. Some established filmmakers choose to screen their movies out of competition at Cannes.

This year’s event will focus on Croatian cinema presenting five films that are Croatian co-productions: Armin All for Free Two Players from the Bench Border Post and What Iva Recorded on ctober 21 2003. All films have been produced in the past three years.
