Venerable regon Brewers Festival celebrates 22 years of American craft beer PRTLAND re. April 13 2009 – It’s the event that brings together 80 craft breweries 2000 volunteers and 70000 beer lovers for a four-day summer celebration of American craft beer. The 22nd annual regon Brewers Festival one of the nation’s longest-running and best-loved craft beer festivals will take place July 23 through July 26 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. Event hours are Noon to 9 p. Thursday through Saturday and Noon to 7 p.

”San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed echoed the feelings of many in the community. “I’m really disappointed that we’re not going to have fireworks downtown for Independence Day on the Fourth of July it’s part of our traditional celebrations and it’s always a lot of fun. But the economy is dragging it down and the double whammy of decreasing local tax revenues and lack of sponsorships has made this a casualty of the economy” said Reed. It will be a great opportunity to come early and stay late at Nationals Park. ”The Festival Park aims to start operations within the next few weeks and will be open from 3 hours before a game until 2 hours after the game. It will also be open on some days when the Nationals are not playing in D. “It’s a high-risk project for us with the team’s performance being poor” said Robert Blair president of Georgetown Events. “We need the ability to use the space on days other than game days.

inc]–> Executive Director and CE of the Newport Beach Film Festival Gregg Schwenk and Programming Director for the festival Erik Forsell – both CC alumni – have made it possible through their inspiration and confidence in the student’s abilities and creativity. Students have worked for months making their films a process according to the filmmakers that was both difficult and worth every minute. According to Jim Stevens director and co-producer of the short “Jacked” the entire development of the movie took a substantial amount of time. “We started late September and finally completed the film in January” Stevens said.
