com Lauryn will headline the Stockholm Jazz Festival this summer July 15-19th. Sonny Rollins and Brazilian singer Gilberto Gil are also part of the Stockholm lineup. The festival has previously featured artists including Mary J. Blige Sting Stevie Wonder Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. Hill also headlined the Stockholm Jazz Festival in 2005.

The event had been planned for June 19-20. rganizers plan to resume the festival during Father’s Day weekend next year. The annual festival started in 2005.

A call to the Folk Festival office was not immediately returned Tuesday but an outgoing voicemail message confirmed that the annual event scheduled for May 1 and 2 at the. Lawrence Convention Center would be canceled. The Web site indicated the festival would return in 2010.
