Festival stage collapse leaves three hurt

Derbyshire police said those hurt Saturday night received medical treatment for back and neck problems along with a suspected broken wrist and shoulder The Times of London nline reported Sunday. Sally Booth a site manager at the festival in the village of Hulland Ward credited emergency services for their response to the stage collapse which she blamed on strong winds. “It’s been raining and windy all day but this was a freak gust of wind that was capable of knocking people over” she said. “When it happened everybody did what they had to do and more.
