: That curious ball of flame that’s been hanging in the sky recently is the sun and it has made for some pretty nice weather for this weekend’s Ala Carte & Art festival in Mountain View. Lather up with sunscreen and wear a broad-brim hat to stroll up and down Castro Street to hear the live music check out the 250 exhibitors eat food and drink yourself silly if you are of a mind to do so. There is a “Kids’ Tons of Fun Zone” which includes a 120-foot “Super Slide” a virtual reality motion theater (what is that? one might reasonably ask) a circus a climbing wall face painting temporary tattoos and other stuff. This is always a fun event.
