- rganizers say the 18th annual RhubarbFestival drew thousands of people to downtown Aledo for its two-dayrun. At its conclusion Saturday evening roughly 3000 people filleda local park stood in the streets and sat on blankets laid acrossthe Mercer County Courthouse lawn to hear country music star SuzyBogguss sing to the fans in her home town.
